The Orbit of Memory

“The orbit of memory” is an experimental animation showing a man who enters a train, setting out on the journey of his life. He meets many people and feels joy and sorrow, with his memories and experiences leaving traces on the train, which finally represents his unique personal history. To help the viewer identify with the protagonist, he is the only character to not have distinctive external features. What makes the design of the animation stand out is the great variety of hand-crafted elements, which create a powerful interplay of different styles and materials such as modelling media, cardboard and paint.
