Since 1993, international agencies, designers and companies have been invited to take part in the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design. The Red Dot Jury evaluates brands and communication design works.

About the competition

In 2019, the Red Dot Award: Communication Design has been renamed the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design. This new direction gives brands a bigger platform in the competition for communication design, and the competition is divided into the following two sections:

Red Dot Jury

All jurors of the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design have a wealth of experience and expertise. Every year, these international experts make a decisive contribution to the quality of the Red Dot Label. Under the motto “In search of good design and creativity”, the Red Dot Jury assesses the quality of the entries and decides which will receive a distinction.

Red Dot Gala

The winners of the competition will be honoured at the Red Dot Gala in Berlin..

Red Dot Celebration

The winners’ success will be celebrated not only during the Red Dot Gala but also online – on the Red Dot website and all other Red Dot channels.
