The Beginning of Sink Green
The campaign for the sustainable Sink Green product line by Schock, a sink manufacturer based in the Bavarian Forest, intends to appeal to an increasingly international market while, at the same time, underlining the brand’s extravagant image. In the image film, the story of the product line is told by music icon Iggy Pop, who stands for persistence on the one hand and rebellion on the other. He sits on a throne made of washbasins in the middle of a backdrop which is supposed to represent the Bavarian Forest. The video combines real film footage with superimposed 2D graphics, which look like paper cut-outs, and modern trick effects to create an idiosyncratic look.
