With the Precede:ON, Canyon Bicycles introduces a new flagship in its urban e-bike line. With its skilful meld of technology and design, it meets the challenges of urban mobility concepts of tomorrow. The highly expressive character of the urban e-bike becomes manifest at first glance in its distinctive carbon frame. The straight-lined and dynamic diamond frame with the low top tube clearly sets the Precede:ON apart from other e-bikes. Also extremely successful are the integration of the battery, which can be conveniently removed from the top, and the precision design of the fully integrated cockpit, which fits bright lights, built-in brake levers and a clearly arranged Bosch Kiox display into a unified form with no visible cables. Canyon thus consistently implements various components in a system integration approach. Thanks to its geometry and the low bottom bracket, the Precede:ON is very comfortable to ride. The rider always has the feeling of sitting securely on the saddle and being on the move with speed. When stopping the bike, the gear shifts down automatically to make it easier to set off again. The quiet Enviolo automatic hub shifting and the maintenance-free Gates belt drive round off the high-quality impression and ensure the smooth running of this e-bike. In conjunction with a 500-Wh battery capacity, the Precede:ON is equipped with a powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor that responds without any delay and impresses with its powerful forward thrust. Two large-volume tyres and the splayed seatpost, which also features on the Canyon Grail CF gravel bike, ensure high rider comfort, making trips around the city decidedly more relaxed.
