Pepsi x CNY Year of the Rat (China)
The Lunar New Year is the most significant festival for many Chinese people, as it is a synonym for togetherness and going home to be with family. This limited edition can collection commemorates the New Year and the upcoming zodiac sign. 2020 is the Year of the Rat, a symbol of wealth and abundance. With cultural relevance in mind, three distinct and youthful rat characters have been developed. The characters are adorned with different auspicious Chinese symbols. One of the rats is dressed as a dragon, another as a fish and one is a lion, all signifying traditional New Year wishes.
