Key Visual,Interaction Design
paart of
“paart of”, the title of the final exhibition of an art academy in Taiwan, includes two components: an invitation to be part of the event, on the one hand, and an abbreviation of “applied arts” (AART), on the other. The graduates subvert the one-way visual communication by using typical social media filters to illustrate interaction as a new vision of the Department of Applied Arts. In the logo, the additional “a” is highlighted both in colour as well as graphically with a magnifying glass effect. A plus sign in a dotted circle is used as an additional graphical element, which is reminiscent of the button that users have to click before recording filters on Instagram stories.
