Book
Maximilian Schell
The book accompanying the “Maximilian Schell” exhibition presents the career of the multi-talented actor over its more than 300 pages. It creatively highlights the contrasts between Hollywood glamour and the Schell estate in the Austrian Alps. Documents such as diaries, letters and drafts of screenplays are printed on small pages of uncoated paper, making them appear particularly vivid. Seventeen authors explore Schell’s great acting talent, share behind-the-scenes insights and focus on the knowledgeable art collector, film director and lover of Shakespeare. The book has a printed linen cover with metallic embossing.
