Laozi Said
“Laozi Said” structures the classic text of Taoism, the Tao Te Ching, into three chapters. The ancient philosophical concepts are illustrated on foldout pages that can be opened up to create a large poster, similar to how philosophical ideas offer a holistic view of life. The cover of the boxed set is decorated with Chinese calligraphy to represent the abstract concept of Tao and with simplified symbols to denote its morals. The hill is the realm of Laozi, the flowing water symbolises gentleness and the dot is the time allotted to all things on Earth.
