The mural was inspired by the oldest existing Greek folk song. The expressive illustrations in deep black accentuated with just a few white strokes succeed in conveying the dark, supernatural nature of the “The Dead Brother’s Song” and depicting the song’s main characters in a striking manner. The illustrations were designed for a modern Greek restaurant. Used as a central decorative element, the scenes keep the traditional tale alive even in the present day.
