Awarded communication design: Mutabor, The Techno Creatives and SAP
Not long now: On 4 November 2016, the winners of the Red Dot Award: Communication Design will be honoured in Berlin. On stage of the Konzerthaus Berlin the best of the best will receive their Red Dot Trophies. And it remains exciting until the very end: Only on the evening of the awarding ceremony, in the presence of 1,400 international guests, it is announced who will get the highest single distinction of a category, the Red Dot: Grand Prix. Mutabor, The Techno Creatives and SAP Design can already be pleased now as they all have been awarded in this year’s competition.
Mutabor records six awards
The German Red Dot: Agency of the Year 2013, Mutabor, can record six distinctions alltogether. Four projects convinced the Red Dot jury to a very high degree and were honoured with the Red Dot: Best of the Best. These include "Audi Dealermeeting Barcelona 2015" in the category Spatial Communication, "Re-Design in the premium segment" in the category Corporate Design & Identity as well as the project "Deutsche Stimmklinik ‘The Voiceprint‘" in Corporate Design & Identity and Sound Design. The fair stand "Audi at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015" and the spatial communication work "The #untaggable Audi Q2" received a Red Dot.
The Techno Creatives awarded twice
Also The Techno Creatives from Sweden can be happy about two distinctions in the Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2016. The projects "Elektron Overbridge" and "Yacht Defined" were both awarded with a Red Dot in the category Interface Design. "Elektron Overbridge" allows real analog instruments to be handled as software instruments and unites hardware and software. "Yacht Defined" can be utilised outside the boat and enables new ways of being in control. Users can maneuver the boat with their fingertips from the pier. Furthermore, the application provides relevant information at the right time.

Three Red Dots for SAP
Also the SAP Design & Co-Innovation Center managed to convince the Red Dot jury. The US provider was awarded three times: For "SAP Consumer Insight 365" in the category Interface Design as well as "SAP Perfect Meeting with Customer" and "SAP Tennis Analytics for Coaches" in the category Apps. The latter revolutionises the player-coach communication in women’s tennis. "SAP Tennis Analytics for Coaches" is a tablet app gathering data in real-time from ten on-court cameras and the umpire's scoring of the match and translates them into strategic insights.
Red Dot Gala & Designers‘ Night in Berlin
After the Red Dot Gala on 4 November, the who is who of the design industry celebrates this year’s winners at the Designers‘ Night. The official after-show party at the E-Werk Berlin offers the perfect opportunity to network and to make contact with key players of the indsutry. In the midst of the well-known building, also the winners‘ exhibition "Design on Stage" exclusively will be presented for one night.
