Prof. Philipp Teufel
Professor Philipp Teufel studied visual communication and scenography at the HfG Gmünd University of Applied Sciences in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. From 1985 to 1995, he was a partner of the design agency conceptdesign in Frankfurt/Main. Until 2007, he was a member of the nowakteufelknyrim studio community, and until 2017 he has led the malsyteufel studio. Between 2010 and 2015 he was artistic consultant for the scenography of the Humboldt Forum in the Berlin Palace. Until today, he is a member of the art council at the German Federal Ministry of Finance. Philipp Teufel has been teaching and researching in the field of 3D communication at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf for more than 20 years. Since 2020, he has been artistic director of the Garden Museum in Lennestad, where he curates as well as stages exhibitions on the Anthropocene and Green Urban Living, among others.
