To solve the problem that LED displays available on the market weigh around 20 kg/sqm, a product composed of carbon fibre in combination with a magnesium alloy was developed to reduce the overall weight to only about 13 kg. Thickness and shape of the skeleton were modified in such a way that both the structural strength of the display screen and the size of the box body could be optimised. This allows for single assembly and disassembly at the installation site and reduces the costs for assembly personnel and transport.
