The Millennials

This film takes a critical look at the media habits of millennials. In short chapters with titles such as “herd behaviour” and “phishing”, various phenomena of the internet and the culture of mobile communication are taken to absurd extremes. Reminiscent of classic newspaper caricatures, the style of the hand-drawn animations is minimalist, as is the sound design. The intention behind this is to leave the film open to interpretation by viewers. The sparse visuals also underscore the characters’ alienation from their environment.
