Inspired by the shape of a moon jar from the Joseon Dynasty, the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum VI bottle adopts the soft curves of this porcelain, along with characteristic features of Korean aesthetics. The visual focus of the bottle, with its matt-white body and high cap, is the amber logo at the bottom. The brand’s Chinese seal symbol has been placed on the side as an allusion to artists’ signatures on ceramics. “With maximum reduction, the design succeeds in creating a strong presence through fine accents on high-quality material while subtly conveying the art-historical past,” the jury emphasised.
