Worktop Ventilation

Refined transparency
The innovative glassdraftAir worktop ventilation unit was developed especially for open-plan kitchen designs and impresses with its minimalist look: the unit is recessed flush into the countertop behind the hob and can be extended when needed during cooking. When extended, it showcases a transparent, slender glass panel that adds a discreet highlight in the kitchen. Moreover, the emotionLight Pro also underscores the creative act of cooking with customisable colour accents at the polished edge of the glass. Using a transparent and illuminated panel not only facilitated an elegant appearance, it also boosts performance. Using patented Guided Air technology, the panel forms an air curtain behind the glass that optimises the airflow – for sucking away vapour efficiently from all cooking zones. Thanks to cookConnect, the extraction fan switches on automatically as soon as the cooking process is started. During cooking, the ventilation can then be easily operated from the hob. An integrated air quality sensor automatically adjusts its performance to the amount of vapour to be extracted. Moreover, the glassdraftAir worktop ventilation unit is WLAN-compatible and can be controlled via the Home Connect app. Control by voice command is also possible with the help of a common voice assistant. The glass panel can be removed easily for convenient cleaning and, in the filter cleaning position, the dishwasher-safe filter cassettes are automatically raised for removal.
