The Philips OlfaPure 7000 is a fragrance dispenser for car interiors. It fits into any standard cup holder and is operated via a USB connection. Variety is provided by the four integrated cartridges whose fragrances are designed to hold their scent for up to one year. The various available scents not only neutralise unpleasant odours, but also take into account the individual preferences of the vehicle occupants. The fragrances, which contain no solvents or other harmful ingredients, are released by means of dry diffusion with no droplet formation. The jury appreciated the simple technical operating principle and unobtrusive design, which is reminiscent of a cup.
