HSV Heldenplakate HSV Football Star Posters

Created in 2012 for the 125th jubilee of the HSV football club (Hamburger Sport-Verein e.V.) in Germany, this poster series represents an illustrated chronicle of the most important HSV football icons to date. The series focuses on five legendary footballers who have played particularly decisive roles in shaping the club’s successful history. The various decades are indicated by graphic design typical of the time. Thanks to the special poses of the icons and the apt titling – e.g., “Legen-de” for Uwe Seeler and “Kaiser” for Franz Beckenbauer – the players and club history vividly come to life.
