This series of the finely illustrated and subtly coloured Hanbrand images focuses on the art of the Han dynasty. Preserved fragments of stone paintings and totem decorations from that era were combined with new design elements to develop scenarios which re-flect the way of life, the craftsmanship and the aesthetic of stone-painting of the period. Thus, the cultural heritage of the Han dynasty becomes closely associated with the modern brand, which seeks to use the illustrations to create a new awareness of ancient traditions.
