Bavaria Film – One Hundred Years in Motion

The “One Hundred Years in Motion” anniversary campaign by Bavaria Film inspired the creation of a golden “100 years” logo. This animation design is characterised by imagery which is immediately emotionally accessible. The clip begins with the image of a typewriter to allude to the historical background of the campaign and the fact that, to this day, every film begins with a script. The full stops on the paper inserted into the typewriter change into the perforations of a reel of film. They form a line down which two film cans roll and, ultimately, become the circular zeroes of the golden “100 years” logo.
