Firefighting Solution
Animal Guardians
Animal Guardians is a digital solution for fighting wildfires. The system is based on the observation that animal rights groups return thousands of wild animals to nature every year after having rescued and treated them. The tool designed is a silicone collar with special sensors and self-charging solar battery to put on an animal before release. If a fire breaks out and the carbon monoxide content exceeds a certain level, the sensor transmits GPS data to the local fire authority. Thanks to a rapid flow of information, the system helps to locate a forest fire early on, before it can spread over a large area.
