Z Innovation Lab 2019

The Z Innovation Lab, held in Hong Kong in 2019, was dedicated to integrating the latest stage technology and innovative ideas in the live arts. Therefore, a giant bamboo “Flower Plaque” installation measuring seventeen by five metres was erected in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The design concept visualises the tradition with an LED display fan showing holograms, light painting and a light web knitted by LED bulbs. The idea was to address, with a touch of technology, the celebratory mood represented by red fabrics, tungsten light bulbs and a traditional peacock positioned on top.
