Pop-up Book

The Addiction World

Three great addictions are the subject of this work, which consists of three lavishly produced pop-up books. Despite their often negative physical and environmental consequences, addictions are sometimes difficult to detect in everyday life. In order to draw attention to this phenomenon, the comic-style books use pages that unfold to reveal various deliberately exaggerated 3D scenes. The addictions covered by the books include dependence on the Internet and video games, compulsive shopping and the craving for admiration – all presented in finely crafted details and within the context of the addictions.
