PAKAMLIR – Puyuma Xiaomi Bartender

In the language of the Puyuma, one of Taiwan’s indigenous peoples, the word “pakamlir” means “special”. The millet wine of the same name is served only on certain occasions. The visual design of the bottles is therefore striking and symbolic as well. The illustrations on the labels reference Taiwanese legends. The traditional characters are drawn with great vibrancy and surrounded with dynamic and powerful patterns. The colours of the illustrations reflect those of the respective wine, making it easy to distinguish visually between the different flavours.
