Married With A Soul
“Married With A Soul” describes traditional ghost marriages in Taiwanese culture. They used to be common but have recently become almost taboo, resulting in a decline in numbers. Ghost marriage refers to the wedding between a young woman and her fiancé who has died in an accident. Its true meaning is a family bond that transcends life. The paper structure, which can be folded out into a brochure as well as a star, uses traditional drawings to present this custom and communicate the meaning of one of Taiwan’s formerly well-known cultural traditions.
