City Vision

“City Vision” is the title of the Shanghai contemporary art exhibition, where 72 artists have developed and created a joint stance on contemporary art in the city. The motifs on the posters also play with the idea of “reconstruction”. The individual letters look like small scaffoldings which combine to create the exhibition title and other buzzwords, like “city resonance”, and thus visualise an art scene in transition; an art scene which, under the influence of major social upheaval, renews itself beyond the realm of conventional thought.
