Logo Redesign
City Clinical Hospital No. 40
This hospital in Moscow, which opened at the end of the 19th century, has developed into a modern clinic over time. Its new logo features a rendering of the cross – a well-known icon for medicine – and merges it with the number 40. The lines are reminiscent of the white stripes of bandages and the cancer support ribbon, while the circular shape evokes the association with pills. The transparent shades of blue have a calming effect on patients; blue is also considered the colour of technology. In addition to stationery, the logo also features on both the building’s facade and the staff’s workwear.
