The collection of essays “A Streak of Grey” includes personal experiences, observations and thoughts of the author. His insight that joy and sorrow are equal parts of life is echoed in the typographic design of the cover and binding. The dominant colours of black and white reflect the light and dark episodes, and are at the same time combined to create different shades of grey. In areas defined by straight lines and reminiscent of timelines, they symbolise the ups and downs of life and its different phases.
