This ‘quick-apply’ fracture and injury balloon immobilisation bandage uses air pressure to stabilise and protect the limb from further injury. It can be easily wrapped around the injured limb, which enhances its usability. With the pressure from the air bag applied, the distance between the four internal fixation plates is reduced, and the fracture is fixed, protecting the injury to avoid further secondary damage.
